Connected CC account, but cannot download transactions

I have successfully connected by American Express credit card account to MoneyDance. However, when I select "download account activity" within Moneydance, it says there are zero transactions downloaded. I have many transactions that should have downloaded, but not came in. Can someone help me understand what I'm missing or what this issue might be>

    Could you trying resetting the sync on your connection? To do this, first click on your account register to open it. Then, select the Online->"Setup Online Banking" menu option. In the window that pops up, click on the button that says "Reset Sync." Then close that window and try your download again.
