Regions bank direct download failure

This happened some time ago but it's not a busy bank for me .. I found 2 references to this, one a 'new' connection with instructions and the other a bank problem. My persistent error says the ID/Password is wrong and stops there.
I am able to log on to my bank a/c and can download manually from from there, although I think it was a QFX.
Anything known about this?

    Hi John,

    Several other Regions Bank clients have reported the same issue.

    If you're using MD 2017, AND you purchased Moneydance through the Moneydance website (as opposed to the Apple Store or elsewhere) then you should update to the latest preview build - currently MD 2017.10 (1706)

    Thanks Kevin,
    The enabling of my accounts as 'new' worked perfectly, I had to wait a day or two to test the download (no activity) which also worked fine.
    I noticed with the new version of the program I am required to re-register (pay again) and since I have purchased twice I was reminded of Quicken, but I do qualify for 50% off so it still makes MD the best deal.
    I will post again as I have a couple more issues.
