Since then, I occasionally see a one day delay when downloading transactions. Example: Today is Jan 4 (10am Pacific), I did a download and I see transactions for Jan 2, but not for Jan 3. (Yes there are transactions on Jan 3 that should have been picked up). This happens for multiple accounts for this bank.

So: would I troubleshoot this with you, or with the bank? Is there any logging of the downloads that might help troubleshoot?

Thanks.

PS: It's worth noting that since the change, the process of downloading takes much longer than before.... I have to wait 30 seconds after "Downloading Transactions... " message goes away before new transactions show up in the list.

david.beavtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/467540702019-01-04T20:14:12Z2019-01-04T20:14:12ZOne day delay in downloading transactions

I'm a fellow user.

The systems used for Direct Connect are usually different to you banks major systems, what often happens is that the banks periodically provide an update to them so that they containing a rolling amount of data often 30-90 days, Normally i'd expect this to be a regular process - probably once a day, depending on when this is done it may include that days data or up to only the previous days data, but I would expect it to be consistent. When I was in the banking industry there was a fixed schedule for the processing of data, hence that is why depending on when DC gets update what data it includes.

Moneydnace is not doing anything particular fancy when it downloads, it basically says to the bank's server give me what you got, it uses the transaction IDs to discard any data that it already has.

dwg
