unable to connect to my bank

Please advise, a constant litany of errors

    Hello,

    I'm not sure what you're referring to. I responded to your other thread about copying and pasting, but I don't see any other information associated with your email address on these forums. Can you please explain your question in more detail?

    I'm trying to set my checking acct up for auto downloads and keep
    getting this message (which I finally figured out how to copy)

    The given customer ID or PIN is not valid. For more information, contact
    your financial institution.

    Additional information from the server:
    Signon (for example, user ID or password) invalid

    It can't possibly be invalid when I can access it from my browser just
    not in MD. Why is this program so damned complicated?

    I'm a fellow user.

    Moneydance uses Direct Connect for the download of transactions. This is a completely separate system from Internet Banking and more often than not has a different username/password combination and will also often require the bank to set you up to use this system.

    YOUR PROGRAM TURNS OUT TO BE JUST AS MADDENING AS QUICKEN WAS! WHERE IS
    TECHNICAL SUPPORT WHEN YOU NEED IT? I SHOULD SPEND MY ENTIRE DAY
    WORKING ON THIS WHEN A SIMPLE PHONE CALL WOULD DO? I have followed all
    the steps outlined for connecting to my bank...........have entered
    countless time the necessary new pin number.........at least 20 times,
    and though the program tells me that it has the info it needs, still i
    get the same damn over and over..............that it can't connect. How
    difficult to reach out via phone to solve this problem so that I might
    be able to move forward and not spend my ENTIRE WEEKEND trying to figure
    it out?
