I just upgraded to 2019.1 on a Linux machine.
Tried to use the builtin browser to log in to my CapitolOne credit card account.
Once I enter the credentials, it loops between two different pages until I close the built in browser.

I am not support staff, just a user.

I think the embedded browser is very much a work in progress.

I have tried Barclaycard and Santander. Barclaycard does not work, I can’t log in, same as you.

Santander does work with some limitation.

The embedded browser is still at the beta stage of development and it does not look like there has been any progress since your last post even though I am running 2019.4(1888).

It's been quite a while for something to be beta, especially as there
has been no progress during this time.
I understand you are an end user like me, I'm just wanting some official
    info/action on this.

This was the last update relating to the embedded browser - build 1884 Jul 22 - Improve embedded browser compatibility with some banking sites.

Let hope support can provide a update on progress.

Just to add this comment was made by support on Sep 06

“Moneydance 2019 includes an embedded browser (currently a beta feature) that makes downloading from the banks website much easier. We're also working on another feature (coming soon) that will remember how you download from the banks site and help to automate the manual import process.”

Thanks for the update. Shame that users must do the work of developers/support staff.

I appreciate that Moneydance is offered as an option to Quicken. However, Moneydance to me is an awkward and confusing program to manuever throuhg, and I have to question whether all it's glitches and idiosyncrasies are worth the hassle.
