I would like to request a refund after US Bank said I would have to pay $10.00 a month to download my transaction, I will not be able to use the software.

    Hello,

    I'm sorry to hear about this! Unfortunately, we have no control over what banks charge their customers for this service. Many offer direct connections for free. I think that's the largest monthly charge I've ever heard of.

    Just to make sure you're aware, you can still get your transactions into Moneydance by using a web browser to download them from your bank's web site. You can download into QFX, OFX, OFC, or QIF files (sometimes referred to as Quicken or MS Money files), any of which will import cleanly into Moneydance. I'm not aware of any bank that charges for these downloads.

    Let me know if that's not a workable solution for you, and we can go ahead with the refund.

    I really wanted to find an alternative to quicken but i rely heavily on the downloads to keep everything updated, I have too many accounts to try to manually download on any regular basis
    For now please refund my purchase but please keep me advised if you can find a way to offer regular downloads

    Hi Jim,

    It's unfortunate that your bank charge a fee for using Direct Connect services - most banks will allow access to this service for free.
    By only using Direct Connect, we can guarantee that your username, password and financial data only ever exists with your bank or on your own personal computer, and at no point are your details stored on another server.

    I am sorry that our product did not meet your needs. I have asked our payment processing partners FastSpring to process your refund. They will let you know when the process is complete from their end.
