incorrect balance

I set up my checking account but transactions only go back 6 months so the balance is incorrect

   Hi Barry,

   It's not uncommon for a financial institution to only provide 90 days worth of data for direct-connect downloads. 6 months is actually pretty good.

   At this point you have a few options:
   1) Look to your financial institution's web site to see if they allow manual downloads of older txns.
   2) Set the 'Initial Balance' of the account so as to reconcile it with the current, correct balance and forget about the prior txns.
   3) If you were using a PFM program (e.g. Quicken or MS Money) before using Moneydance, you could export that data and import it into Moneydance.
