Online Payment
I am trying to send an online payment and get this error:
A communication or parsing error occurred. This could be the result of a network problem, a proxy error, or misconfigured server.
Error Description: java.net.UnknownHostException: eftx.bankofamerica.com

I'm a fellow user.
The error means that Moneydance could not find the server.
Moneydance's Bank of America users have advised that this institution has discontinued support for Direct Connect for all customers as at the end of October 2022.
As a result of this moving forward support for automatic downloads for Moneydance will only be available via Moneydance+.
As Application Based Online Bill pay is part of Direct Connect it means this will not function either.

Thank you. I have Moneydance+ now. Does that allow another option for Bill Pay or is the application only available through Direct Connect?

In Moneydance Bill Pay is only available through Direct Connect.
Other solutions for Online Bill pay were being looked at, but there is no solution at the moment.
I believe the only viable option today is to do Bill Pay via your bank's Internet Banking Web site.
