Verizon VISA won't download

This is the second time I am reaching out because of this. Verizon is connected, yet when I click "Download" it just brings up the "Set up Moneydace+ box." I am paying for your product yet it does not deliver.

    If it brings up the Set up Moneydance+ box, you probably need to set up the Verizon Visa again. I have seen that happen (i.e. losing the setup criteria) a couple of times, though it seems rare.

    Did that and it still doesn't work. Now, when I try to download it just brings up the Moneydance+ screen again, showing Verizon happily linked. Pathetic! Also pathetic is the fact that no Moneydance support person has responded to this message.

    Hi Timothy,

    This issue is specific to your accounts settings.

    As we've previously advised, unfortunately if you do not wish to enroll in paperless account statements, Plaid may not be able to get your transaction history.
    Enabling this future from your bank's website should resolve the issue, at once.

    OK, so to make me understand, Verizon Visa is FORCING me to enroll in paperless statements in order to download my transactions?

    Well, I don't like it but it worked. Verizon imported a transaction after I selected paperless statements.

    Different banks are doing a lot of crazy things to make their clients jump through hoops to get their own data, when it should be the other way around, of course.

    I don't like what Schwab, USAA, and Chase have done to me, but I don't have much of a choice in those situations either.

    It's not good, and complaining to them has no effect.

    In your case, Verizon Visa is handled by Synchrony Bank - who yes - appears to force you to move to paperless statements to get your download data. Dang!
