Elan Credit Card Completely broken (AGAIN)
The problems between Elan and Plaid continue to frustrate, but now it is broken to the point that I cannot even log in to my account. This has been going on for over a week now. Formerly, I could log in, but had to do it each time that I used Moneydance+ and I also had to answer a security question every time that I logged in. I tried deleting Elan and trying to reestablish, but I cannot log in.

Oh, if you are talking Elan, but NOT Fidelity Credit Card, it's probably a case by case issue.

Well, I'm done with Elan and the Fidelity credit card. They have the best rebate program, but they are just not worth the trouble. I will keep the card and possibly use it on large purchases due to the 2% rebate.

You can get a 2% everywhere rebate card from Wells Fargo, and it does work with Plaid and Moneydance. And it can also be redeemed as a statement credit if you choose. I’m saying goodbye to the Elan/Fidelity Credit Card after all my rebates post and I redeem them.

@Maddy Is this a dead issue? Has Plaid thrown in the towel on getting Elan to cooperate? It would be good to know if we should continue to hope for a solution or just move on.

Thanks @Scott for the suggestion. I hate to apply for another card, but that is a good option.

Well, Saints be praised. I took a random stab at reconnection my Fidelity Visa with Elan and Lo and Behold it connected and downloaded transactions. We'll see how long that lasts. If MD could get Synchrony fixed now I'd be back in business.

I'd actually disconnected Plaid from Elan...so seeing your message @tiptonbob was wonderful. I reconnected it from scratch and voila, it's working again. I'll take it.
Good luck with whatever's going on with Synchrony!

@Ambassador Dave Glad to help. The Synchrony (Sam’s Club) is connected and working too. First time that I remember that all my accounts are downloading successfully. Hope it lasts.

I missed these comments but noticed that the Elan site looked different so I tried my plaid connection again. It works! Let's hope it stays that way for a while!

It may be working if you have a SMS capable phone number for MFA. PLAID apparently, does not want to add voice or email MFA.

@All @Maddy Elan and Plaid couldn't keep it together for a month. Once again communications between them is lost. I get so far as to enter my 2FA code after it has accepted my Username and password, Then I get "Something went wrong - You can try again later or find another bank to continue - Try again"
I wish Moneydance would find someone who is more reliable than Plaid. This stinks!

@All
It seems that the connection is returning an INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR, at the moment. So, I've re-escalated the case to Plaid support.
We will post any updates here as soon as we receive a reply.
We are sorry for the persistent issues. Hopefully Plaid will be able to fix it asap!
