Useless communications error message
I've been getting a online communications error lately, but since the error message doesn't mention who it's communicating with I can't solve it... How about changing this in a future release to give that vital piece of information.
I'm running MD 2023.3 on macOS 13.3

Hi,
We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.
Generally the zero error appears when the connection is not happening. The first steps is to navigate to Online->Set Up Moneydance +->Accounts and check which account isn't connected or assigned properly as shown here.
You should navigate to the bank's website to check that your accounts are individually enabled for third party access and they do not require a on-time authorization password for instance.
Finally, if you have a firewall, VPN, antivirus software or any other software that might be blocking Moneydance's access to the internet, you could try disabling it and see if you're able to connect then.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

Maddy,
Thanks for your reply, but my point was not how to solve it, rather that the error message should list the account in question to save the user from having to figure it out manually…
