Extend investment transaction history download period to for Fidelity
I was trying to set up my investment accounts into Money Dance. It worked Ok but only gives me 90 days of transaction history. I checked the Fidelity website noted below and found the following FAQ. When I called they had specific instructions for the Quicken Platform as noted below. Is there a similar workaround for the MoneyDance Platform? I am working in Windows MoneyDance Version 2021
1. Click "Tools"
2. Click "Online Center"
3. Press and hold the "Control" key while you click "Contact Info"
4. Choose the account to update from the dropdown menu
5. Click "Reset DTSTART"
6. Enter a date that is up to 24 months ago- if you enter a date that is more than 24 months ago, you will receive an error and will need to start over
7. Click "Refresh"
8. Click "Update/Send" in the top right of the Online Center window

The last 90 days of transaction history is downloaded the first time an account is downloaded into Quicken:registered: and QuickBooks:registered:. Customers using Quicken 2010 and 2011 can download up to 24 months of transaction history. Customers using QuickBooks can download up to 90 days of transaction history. Please call a Fidelity representative at 800-544-7595 for assistance.
Thanks Dan

I've looked this over at Fidelity and there is conflicting information (i.e. must use Quicken 2010 or 2011) combined with "Quicken version must not be over 3 years old".
That said, those do appear to be valid instructions (i.e. reset the DTSTART - i.e. date to start) - the question becomes can a current version of Quicken do that, (i.e. and then you QIF it over), or can MD submit a line into the download data stream conversation?
I have a feeling that the answer might not be known to many. I don't know, personally.

With Direct Connect automatic downloads Moneydance does have a reset the date setting, assuming the server supports it. It is the Reset Sync option on the online banking service screen. When this is reset the software should download all available transactions, just the same as when the connection is first set up.
Some institutions will allow a greater date range for your history if you manually download a transaction file.

the reset sync option does not give any option to extend or adjust the lookback period.
