I didn't trust the integrity of the "Plaid" company, and was pleased to learn that Fidelity has returned to allowing downloads in quicken-compatible format. (They previously allowed downloading a *.QFX" file which could then be imported into Moneydance. But it now appears that Fidelity allows such downloads only into the Quicken program itself. Two questions: does anyone know
(1) is there any way still to download a month's worth of transactions from Fidelity? (I'm asking Fidelity the same question too)
(2) can Moneydance mimic the Quicken behavior of allowing direct downloads into an account?
Thanks for any information or help. I'll report back re Fidelity responses

If you are talking Fidelity Investment accounts, you can still use OFX direct connect to download that information directly. Using that you can download however long Fidelity allows.

You can still download CSV files from them based on the time period set. This can then be uploaded into MD via CSV extensions that are pretty good.

What you CAN'T do is use Plaid/MD+ since Fidelity wants you to use the Akoya aggregator (which they basically own) versus going through other aggregators.

I don't know if you are exploring using MD, or already use it. You can download MD for free under a trial basis which is fully functional, with only a 100 manual transaction limitation.
