Can't download transactions
I am trying to download transactions from a bank account. It says that this is the first time and asks how far back I want to go, even though it is NOT the first time. Then when I clicked to download I got this error message:
There was an error communicating with your financial institution. The details of this error are below.
The error code reported by the server was: 0
I would like to be able to download the statements. Please help!

0 means you are not communicating with the server. I assume this is an OFX attempt at a download. It could be simply it is really down, and you should "try again later".
There are many other things that could be happening, but if you've downloaded from this bank before, it may indeed be a simple as that.

Well, I downloaded all the transactions from one account at the same bank. Then I tried the other three accounts. For two of them, I got this error. For the third one, I pressed the link to download and nothing happened. At all. Tried several times.
Also, even though I have downloaded transactions from the other three accounts in the past (I can see the empty blue circles to prove it), the software says it is the first time and is asking me how far back I want to go.
I don’t think the problem is with the bank. I just called them and they can’t find anything wrong/

Ok, version number, operating system, is this OFX or MD+, You have 4 accounts - are they checking/savings/credit card/investment? (i.e. different ones can download differently.
The "when do you want to start" should not be appearing unless you initiated it, but I've seen strange things before... the 0 still means you are not connecting to the server for that/those accounts, but odd if one of them is...

The four accounts are all checking and savings and I have downloaded transactions from all of them before. And I have NOT asked for a date range. When I ask to download, a dialog box comes up telling me I have never downloaded them before and asking for the date range. No matter what date range I am using, I get the error.
I need this to work. The bank insists there is noting wrong on their end

I amusing version 2023.3. I closed and opened it again and it told me there was an upgrade and I clicked on the link for that and it downloaded and then when I opened the software it was just the same. I tried to close and open it again but it no longer offers me to upgrade it.

I got the upgrade installed.
Then, I disabled online access for the account that would not work and tried to set it up again. I chose the bank and entered my username and password and then I was asked to select the account that I wanted to use. BUT, I was only presented with my main checking, associated savings and credit card. I was not given the choice of the second checking (the one I wanted to use) or its associated savings account.
