Cannot download transactions
Using Moneydance 2024.1 (5118). Today 6/4/2024 10:00 PM PDT I cannot download transactions. Moneydance issues error message:
A communication or parsing error occurred. This could be the result of a network problem, a proxy error, or misconfigured server.
Error Description:java.net.UnknownHostException: www.oasis.cfree.com
DNS lookup in Windows command line finds no such host

I switched DNS providers, flushed and reflushed DNS cache, rebooted the computer and retried for about 15 minutes. I also tried nslookup for oasis.cfree.com and cfree.com but got nothing. I have used Moneydance for years, so this is new.
I let everything sit for about an hour and then it worked. How could DNS server entries disappear for a while and come back?

DNS names get propagated through the network, it takes time. I suspect there was a change being made that was working it's way though.
