Regression: Moneydance+ only retrieves 3 months of transactions instead of 24 months.

Before the recent issue with not able to add new accounts, I was able to add checking accounts and credit cards from Chase/Sofi and download 24months of transactions. Today there are reports of being able to add accounts again in https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/discussions/online-banking/12491.... However, when I created a new File to test MD+ with the same Chase/Sofi accounts, I could only download 3 months of transactions even though I selected All Available. According to Plaid's doc, it supports downloading 24 months of data link1 link2, so previous behavior should not be a bug. Could you investigate if this is caused by:
* Plaid not fully fixed their issue * A change in API usage and the default 90 days is applied * Banks all changed their limit and only provide 90 days of data.

The amount of data available is dictated by the Financial Institution, not Plaid. Plaid can download UPTO 24 months of data but if the FI does not make it available then there isn't much Plaid can do.
Read the link you provide "Retrieve and refresh up to 24 months of historical transaction data" (emphasis mine)

I understand Plaid provide upto 24 months of transactions. However, I think the likelihood is low for many banks changing their history limit to the same length at the same time. A misconfigured API call or Plaid's internal issues could also be the case. It would be nice if someone with Plaid's Production access could just call the transaction API to confirm.

Thank you for sharing this information.
Could you try doing this please?

    • Select the Online->Setup Moneydance+ menu, then click on an account (not the bank name) in the right column you should see a popup menu. If you select the Reset Sync Date entry, Moneydance will prompt you upon the next download to select how far back in time you'd like it to request transactions. How far back the transactions actually go is dependent upon the bank and/or their service provider, but Moneydance will request whatever date you specify.

Please keep us posted on your progress, Thank you!

I've created brand new "File" with empty accounts to setup MD+ from scratch for testing. After clicking "Reset Sync Date" and then download transactions with "All Available" date range, still only 3 months of transactions are being downloaded. One month ago, all of my banks (Chase/Citi/Sofi/Vio) provide 24 months of data through MD+, and now all of them only download only 3 months. @Maddy Can you check with the dev team to see if MD+ can download more than 3 months of data from any bank?
