Australian banks are not listed in the OFX Service
HI
I hope this email finds you well.
I am writing to seek assistance regarding an issue I am experiencing with the Moneydance application on my Apple Mac Studio computer.
I recently upgraded from the trial version to the licensed version. To make clear install, I have deleted the trial version and installed latest downloaded version of the Moneydance app.
Now I encountered difficulties in connecting my bank accounts from the two Australian banks : St George Bank and Bankwest Bank.
During my trial period, I was able to easily connect to my St George Bank and Bankwest Bank accounts and successfully download transactions from selected account. Both of these banks are compatible with the OFX (Open Financial Exchange) service, which facilitated seamless connection and transaction downloading.
However, with licensed application, I am unable to see these banks in the list of OFX services when trying to connect additional accounts from the same banks, because they are not listed in OFX.
Could you please provide support to resolve this issue? Specifically, I would like to:
1. Understand why the OFX services for St George Bank and Bankwest Bank are not appearing in the list after purchasing the license.
2. Receive guidance on how to reconnect these accounts from the same banks.
Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Serguei

There is absolutely no difference between the trial version and the licensed versions of Moneydance, the difference is in the licensed version you have entered the license key
As far as I am aware Australian banks do not support automatic OFX downloads, they simply do not provide the infrastructure required to enable such a service, some do provide for manual downloads of transactions in OFX format while others provide QIF files.
Where is your information that these banks support automatic OFX downloads coming from?
Automatic OFX downloads are largely the domain of some institutions in the U.S.

Hi
Many Australian banks support automatic OFX (Open Financial Exchange)
downloads for personal finance management. OFX is a common format for
importing financial data into software like Microsoft Money, Quicken, and
other personal finance applications. This information is available on the
bank's web sites.
St George Bank details for connection to OFX server are:
Financial Institution Name: St. George Bank
OFX Server URL: https://ofx.stgeorge.com.au
Organization: STG
FID (Financial Institution ID): 508
or
Financial Institution (FI) Name: St. George Bank
FI URL: https://ofx.stgeorge.com.au
FI Org: Westpac
FI ID: 3000
When I had the trial version I successfully connected and downloaded my
Bankwest account transactions via OFX. Monydance asked to provide my bank
credentials and connect to the bank account.
This was testing and after that, I bought the license.
However, when I try to download transactions now, it does not ask for my
bank credentials and does not connect.
Regards,
Serguei

When setting up "Connect to an online Service" on the bank screen that comes up there is an Advanced Setup that takes you to a screen where you can enter a Bank's OFX connection information.
