Last update timing with Moneydance+/Plaid
I'm a main stater that MD+/Plaid can take 3-7 days to update items.
I now have a USAA update (2 accounts that is 9 days and counting).
I've done all the tests, I'm continually given two 7/21 updates that are very old, always 0/1 items/duplicates deleted.
USAA says "last time checked" for Plaid as 7/21... so that's consistent.
So either Plaid is not trying to connect, or is somehow failing to do so.
Sure, I'd like you to check with Plaid. But that rarely goes well on either side.
So - if possible, I'd like MD to add beyond the duplicate transaction bit - something like "this is from 07/21" might not be possible, but sure would help diagnosis. I can say that when checking reset dates, the last known download date is known.

Hi,
Thank you for your suggestion and for reporting the issue as well.
In order to escalate the issue to the development team and to Plaid support, it would be useful if you could send us your error logs.
They are saved on your computer as an errlog.txt file.
You can get to your error logs as follow:
1) navigate to Help->Console Window to show the console log in a window
or
2) in the Finder, press ⌘⇧G and then copy and paste
~/Library/Containers/com.infinitekind.MoneydanceOSX/Data/Library/Application Support
into the field and press enter/return.At that point the finder will show an internal folder containing the errlog.txt file which includes the log.
Finally you can paste the full content to your next reply.
To add an attachment to this thread, please click on the "Browse" button.
Thank you
Alternatively:
when you are in register view, navigate to Help/Moneydance->Console Window.
At the bottom left of the window you should see a round symbol and a downwards arrow.
Click the arrow and choose: File and Folders->Console log->Show file location.
In the following window you should see a file called error log, you can open the file and copy the content in your next reply or add it as an attachment (whichever is easier).
Please be aware that this thread is set to public, hence visible to anyone in the public forum.
Please let me know if you are happy to continue as it is or if you would prefer to switch to 'private'.
Thank you

There are no errors here. Everything works. It's just sometimes woefully out of date. That won't throw any type of error - it's "working".

Generally the error logs contain some identifiers that are necessary to escalate the case to Plaid support for further investigation.
