Connecting Moneydance +

When trying to download from my 2 Wells Fargo accounts using Moneydance+, I receive the following error message with each one:

There was an error communicating with your financial institution. The details of this error are below.
Bank Name:Wells Fargo Bank
The error code reported by the server was: 2000
The user has entered an invalid user ID or password. If registering for the first time, please login to https://www.wellsfargo.com/fmssetup to start the registration process.

I have gone through the setup process with Plaid, and it says everything is set up and working fine. When I click on "Set Up Moneydance+" all accounts show they are connected, but when I click "Download All Accounts" I receive the errors (only with my Wells Fargo accounts-my other accounts work fine).

I am using Moneydance 2024.1 (5118)

    I'm a fellow Moneydance user.

    Error Code 2000 suggest that Direct Connect (OFX) has been setup for the institution/account. You cannot have both Direct Connect and Moneydance+ set up for the same account/institution, if you do Direct connect will always be used. Hence if you wish to use Moneydance+ for any particular download Direct Connect must be removed for that download.

    dwg,

    Thank you for the information. I was previously able to connect with
    Moneydance+ to my Wells Fargo checking acct. but not the credit card.
    Now I can do neither. How do I make sure Direct Connect is disabled?
