I believe that many financial institutions will use a single ID and PIN/PWD to connect to their Direct Connect (OFX) Server(s). When you connect to their server, there should be a dropdown list of all of the available accounts. You would just need to map each available account on the server to each account that you've set up in Moneydance.

I missed the dropdown when I first set up accounts years ago. I don't remember the exact steps, but I remember that tripping me up at the beginning.

Hope that this helps.

Regards,

When I set up online banking for an account I have the opportunity to set the userid. I set this to the account number as required by TD
Ameritrade. I do this for each of the 6 accounts - all have different
account numbers. When I try to do a download it looks like MD always
uses the same account number and not the one I set for the account. In
the console log segment I had attached I had marked the userid field and
the account number field. They were not the same. I was trying to
download transactions for account 925909654 but MD used the userid for a
different account - 918981227. In order to download the transactions
for the 654 account I had to disable online banking for the 227
account. I am not sure what more I can supply.

If it would help, I can disable online access for an account and then go back toset it up again and capture the console log for that process.

Thank you,

Please realize that I do not work for Infinite Kind. I am a customer who sometimes tries to help other customers with the Moneydance program.

As I stated, I did not remember the exact steps, but when I connected to my Credit Union's server, I was able to see all of my accounts that were available.

I set up the individual accounts first in Moneydance. Then selected the first account that I created and clicked on "Setup Online Banking" and followed these steps:

http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/online-banking-and-bill-pay/direct-...

After I entered the USER ID and PIN I remembered not realizing that all of the accounts were listed on the Online Banking Signup Screen. The Online Banking box is checked and an account was listed. To the very right of the account name and number is a downward facing arrow (scroll button) that I didn't notice at first. That is where I got confused on mapping accounts. Once I realized that all of the accounts were listed there, the mapping was easy.

If you do decide to disable your accounts and reset your accounts, you have to select "New Connection" even if your previous selection is already showing. That is very important.

Other than that information, that is about as much help as I could provide. I wish you luck and would expect that others will chime in to help you along further.

Take care,

Thank you for the response. I believe that this question needs to be looked at by someone at Infinite Kind as I think it is an error
within MD itself. I have been using MD for 10+ years and really like
their response to user questions.

Someone at Infinite Kind needs to look into this especially at the console log I supplied.
