Import from Fidelity has categories to unrelated checking account? Can't import one account at all.
This is a two part problem and they are un-related to each other.
1. I have been using MD and Fidelity for a while. I have MD successfully downloading two of my accounts that are considered Fidelity investment accounts. Both are money market accounts and I use one as my main checking account. But when I download the transactions, it applies a category of an un-related checking account that I also track in MD but has nothing to do with this Fidelity account. This results in that checking account having a negative balance and then I have to batch change the category to something else. I don't even want to use categories but see no way to disable, but is there a way to make it download with a specific category?
2. I created a new Fidelity account to track certificates of deposit. I tried to set this up the same way in MD as my two successful accounts, and even though I download "all" transactions, nothing shows up. No transactions, nothing. Password is correct. Just nothing shows up. Is there a trick I'm missing?
Thank you.
