I have Moneydance +. I can download bank and credit union transactions. How about stock ticker data?

   You should look to use the Quote Loader Extension to download stock quotes.

   The primary function of Moneydance + is transaction downloading.

   Try the extension Quote Loader under EXTENSIONS – MANAGE EXTENSION

   Download the PDF’s attached to post 139 and have a read.

   To get an overview take a look at the YouTube videos by using the links on page 1 and 2 of the PDF.

   The Quick Start Video is intended to give a quick overview so the user can see if Quite loader looks like it could work for them. The Short Video expands the user’s knowledge giving more detail. The Full Video goes even further but may be too wordy for some.

   The PDF reinforces what’s leaned in the videos, provides step by step instructions, a must read and provide answers on how to handle less obvious issues some users may come across.

   Let us know how you get on or if you need help just post. If any securities return an error then post your base currency, the Ticker, full Security Name and last price you have and its traded currency or just post a screen shot of the Quote Loader windows after you click GET PRICES.

   Thanks for your reply/instructions.

   I think I have the parameters set up properly but the ticker prices are not being entered into the app. Note also comment, “Do not load” on the security list.

   What am I missing?

   Hi Colin

   I don’t think you read the PDF I directed you to or you would have known you need to set a SOURCE rather than leaving the SOURCE as DO NOT LOAD. You may want to consider ticking the RETRIEVE MISSED PRICES box if you want historical data. Also you may want more than 2 decimal places.

   See example of one of your securities in screenshot attached.

If any securities return an error then post your base currency and a screenshot of the Quote Loader windows after you click GET PRICES but before clicking SELECT ALL LINES and SAVE SELECTED LINES. Make sure you adjust the width of each field so in your screen shot you can see the full detail e.g ticker, name etc.
