connecting my Money Dance program to Wells Fargo

How do I set up a connection to my Wells Farrgo bank accounts with Money Dance on my MAC? Is it possible to enter in a transaction on the Wells Fargo website and have it appear in my MD program on my MAC?

   Hi Pam,
   Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

   To add to this useful information I thought it's worth mentioning that in order to enable Moneydance to connect to your Wells Fargo accounts, you'll need to follow this link:

   https://wellsfargo.com/fmssetup

   Once you login, there is a process in which Wells Fargo sends a message to your phone. Entering that message into the form on the Wells Fargo site will confirm your identity and enable Moneydance to connect.

   You should then attempt to download your Wells Fargo accounts using Moneydance within 10 minutes. Once the first connection is made, you should then be able to download from your Wells Fargo accounts at any time in the future without having to repeat this process.

   I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

   Hi Maddy,
   Thanks for addressing my concerns. I was unable to connect thru Safari to MD with my first query. Once I changed to Chrome, I was able to submit my question. I then attempted to sign in with your provided link to WF in Chrome. This was unsuccessful, resulting in a message that my sign in information was not recognized. No problems with signing in to WF in Safari when accessed through my saved passords.

   Based on my above explanation and the attached, any further assistance would be appreciated.

   This is the message from WF after I sign in with the link you have provided. Is MD incompatible with WF?

   

   If there is not a compatibility issue, I really am unsure as to how to download once in MD. This window seems to be where I would make my selection, but am unsure as to which items need to be selected. Additionally, several of the fields are unavailable for entry, i.e. Host, Port, User Name & Password. And I’m not even sure what information should be entered in these fields.

   You should simply complete the process by following the onscreen instruction.

   • Click OK to proceed
