Hi team, Moneydance is a great product but I am fed up with manually importing my bank transactions. Would give anything for a Westpac bank feed. Last time I checked, there wasn't one. Is Moneydance any closer to having an arrangement with Australian banks for online bank feeds?

I do not see Moneydance ever having arrangements directly with any banks, Moneydance is used World Wide, there are just too many institutions to deal directly with, even if they were willing.

It will be dependent on if any of the aggregators that Moneydance can engage supports the Australian Market and if it is economical viable to pick up the specific country support. The currently used aggregator, Plaid does not support Australia at all, but has proven to be not viable outside of North America, largely on a cost basis I believe.

This is something that people regularly write in about, if Moneydance wants to be a "global" product then surely it should invest in being so?

It will come down to what aggregator or aggregators The Infinite Kind can engage with and whether it is economic to offer services for a particular country.

In discussing this some time ago with the developer it was revealed that at least one aggregator's Terms and conditions made it next to impossible for a U.K. based company to engage with them.

As I said Plaid has proven to not be viable outside of the U.S. I am aware the company has looked at other aggregators and are looking to implement support for customers outside of North America but only the company can update the status on this.
