Possible to link MD+ to more than one login at the same brokerage?

Recently I added Fidelity to MD+. I noticed that I wasn't able to add a second Fidelity account with its own login. With OFX I had been providing the credentials for the other account that I also manage. When I try to setup MD+ and go through the steps, at the end it returns an error on the MD/Plaid webpage stating that Fidelity logins aren't working. I suspect the real issue is that I already have Fidelity setup with my own account, and Plaid isn't allowing a second login for the same brokerage. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

FWIW, the workaround I plan to use is to have the other person authorize me to access their account via Fidelity, which should make it appear on my list of Fidelity accounts. I just wanted to be sure there wasn't a way to have two logins in case I wind up needing it. Thanks!

I'd say just add two different fidelity 'banks' and use a different login for each. though i dont do that for fidelity i do it for chase, schwab, and usaa (me ans spouse logins)

Thanks for the reply! That's exactly what I tried to do, and the second fidelity bank fails every time during the Plaid setup phase.

do you get an error message - ie 3rd party permission, invalid password, etc.

I even have four chase banks for four account/pwds - self, business, spouse, spouse business

I'll have to run it again, but it's something like "Fidelity login not working at this time" even though my primary Fidelity setup worked great. Maybe it really was a temporary issue, and I need to try again.

not working at this time should be temporary, though some have it a lot,

Thanks, I'm now experiencing that same issue trying to add a new Fidelity account to my same login. I incorrectly assumed the error was due to using a second login. Apparently it's just something that happens from time to time trying to setup MD+.

fidelity often limits setup times to certain hours for some reason i don't fathom.
