Receiving errors when trying to login into banking institution

I am currently trying to setup online banking in Moneydance for my main checking account that is held with Chase.
I have made the proper settings changes in my Chase online profile to allow third party sharing of transactions for the program, however, when I try to connect to my online banking in Moneydance and download transactions, I receive a notice at the top of the banner in the web browser saying that my browser is out of date and must be upgraded, and also, upon trying to enter my Chase credentials and login, I receive another error notification saying that "something went wrong, we are looking into it". Therefore I've had Moneydance downloaded 2 weeks now and haven't really been able to begin using it for my financial purposes. Can you please help me figure out how to upgrade the browser and bypass the error of logging into Chase? Thank you.

    Can you confirm that you've followed the instructions listed here to set up online banking to Chase?

    Two ways for MD to get your data.
    First, put URL of the bank's logon page into appropriate spot in the online setup for your account. Then click "download" while you are on/in the account register.MD's built in browser will then access call the logon page, enter your credentials (after asking you to do it the first time). Then, you navigate through the website to the download function, do the download and MD will auto import it. After the first successful run, just click download again.
    Second, setup OFX direct connect via MD's online setup and follow prompts through the function. After that, clicking "download" while in the account register will get and import the transactions automatically, skipping the website interface and logon.

    Bill pay works via either logon method. The first is like visiting the site. The second is doing it directly your computer to their servers.

    Also, in early 2014 Chase's direct connect was not free (for most customers) and required them to turn it on for you after you agreed to pay. I dropped them when they started charging, so do not know their current policy.
