There is a built-in importer in Moneydance that can import CSV files. Access it via the MD menu bar > File > Import...

The Text Import extension can import 'formatted' CSV files. MD menu bar > Extensions > Text Importer. (If necessary, install the Text Import extension via Manage Extensions).

Lastly, there is a free, third-party CSV Importer designed specifically for Moneydance.

Here is a link to the developer's website. There is a 'How to use it' link at the bottom of the page.

The importer works with MD 2015 and up.

If you need help with it let me know and I'll try to lend a hand.

Thanks for your quickly reply to my question. Your second suggestion seemed to be the answer I needed. I installed the Text Import extension, downloaded the csv file and presto, MD was able to import it.

Thanks again,

You're welcome. I'm glad to hear that you were able to get your CSV imported.

Thank you for reporting back with your results.
