I am importing from Vanguard retirement plans, and all the transfer transactions created in Moneydance have a price of 100 instead of the correct price. I was using Online Banking but the same problem occurs when I import an OFX downloaded from Vanguard's web site.

Here is the relevant transfer entry from the OFX file (reformatted as nice XML):

          <TRANSFER>
            <INVTRAN>
              <FITID>24526201903070023331001457AAA</FITID>
              <DTTRADE>20190306160000.000[-5:EST]</DTTRADE>
              <DTSETTLE>20190307160000.000[-5:EST]</DTSETTLE>
              <MEMO>Investment Expense</MEMO>
            </INVTRAN>
            <SECID>
              <UNIQUEID>92206J206</UNIQUEID>
              <UNIQUEIDTYPE>CUSIP</UNIQUEIDTYPE>
            </SECID>
            <SUBACCTSEC>CASH</SUBACCTSEC>
            <UNITS>-0.009</UNITS>
            <TFERACTION>OUT</TFERACTION>
            <POSTYPE>LONG</POSTYPE>
            <UNITPRICE>20.51</UNITPRICE>
            <INV401KSOURCE>PRETAX</INV401KSOURCE>
          </TRANSFER>

In Moneydance, a SellXfr transaction is created with the correct shares value, but a price of 100.

I can reproduce with both version 2019.1 (1855) and the latest preview, 1860.

    In case anyone else has this issue, the answer I got from Moneydance support is that the OFX doesn't contain a total amount for the transaction (i.e. UNITS times UNITPRICE) so it assumes an amount of 0, then ignores the price from the OFX.

    However, the TRANSFER type in OFX doesn't have an amount field, so it's not possible to "fix" the OFX to work around the issue. After several months of repeated long silences from Moneydance support I gave up asking whether they can fix the issue.
