In setting up my accounts I do not see Ally Bank in the list of online banking institutions. Is there any way I can connect with them using "Advanced Setup" or by some other means?

    Hi Tim,

I'm not from Support, I'm another Moneydance customer.

You bank's website may offer a way for you to download files manually. You can download OFX, QFX, OFC, or QIF files (aka Quicken or MS Money files), any of which will import cleanly into Moneydance.

Here is a Knowledge Base article to help you along:

    Hope this helps,

    Tony (NOT from Moneydance Support)

    I'm a fellow customer.

Ally Bank has come up in discussions before. They do not provide a direct connect service for their customers so it is necessary to download transaction files from their Internet Banking site and import these. Tony has pointed you towards the knowledge base articles to help you with this.

Disappointing, as I was hoping to leave Quicken behind, which works fine with Ally. Looks like I wasted my money.
