Fifth Third connection error

Just returned from vacation and was attempting to catch up my registry and I'm getting the error below. Anyone able to help with this?

A communication or parsing error occurred. This could be the result of a network problem, a proxy error, or misconfigured server.
Error Description: java.io.IOException: HTTP Error:500 Internal Server Error

    I too am experiencing the same error, starting this morning 10AM EST. Perhaps a cert update on the bank server side?

    You don't state which version or build of Moneydance you are running. e.g. 2019.2(1865). Without this information support or other can only offer a general comment.

    There have been a number of updates to Direct Connect in the latest preview build of 2019 that is 2019.2(1865).
    Worth a try https://infinitekind.com/preview
    Disconnect and set up your connection again.

    Hi Shane, you should consider updating to 2019.2(1865).

    What is the best way to update? I just purchased the new version as my old version was 3 years old.

    It may not help certainly not if the issue is at the banks end.

    Hi Shane, if you are currently running 2019.1 you can update at no cost, just download from the link I provided and install. All build updates within a version are always free.

    Hi Shane

    I don't use Direct Connect I always download a transaction file from my online account and import that.
    So I cant give you detailed instructions but did you disable syncing for that account, then select the Online->Setup Online Banking menu to re-configure the account, making sure to select the correct account?
