The trail-version of Moneydance is fully functional.

Take a look at these Moneydance KB articles related to downloading transactional data and importing it into Moneydance. Particularly, the ones 'Direct Connect', 'Automatic Downloads' and 'Manual Downloads'.

If your financial institution is listed as supporting direct-connect but you can not establish a connection, provide the name of the bank, the version and build number of Moneydance and the text of any error message that you receive.

I believe it doesn’t but I hope I am wrong. Can you clarify whether the trial version has this capability.

As Kevin had stated, the trial version is fully functional (i.e. it is exactly the same as the registered version) and will, therefore, download transactions. The only difference is that there is a 100 manually entered transactions limit. Once you reach the limit of 100, the program will nag for a license key. Downloaded data doesn't count toward the limit.

Yes, the trial version can download transactions from most banks. The banks listed at https://infinitekind.com/fi are supported.

Can you give more info about what version of MD, what OS and what issue you are having with what institution?
