I'm trying to download information from my bank for the first time. The browser version is not supported by my bank so I can't use it, but I don't know how to change it. Moneydance does not seem to be using the Chrome that I normally use. Is there a way for me to change that?

You can't modify the internal browser. It is currently in beta, with the long-term goal of facilitating the automatic downloads of financial institutions that do not offer Direct Connect:
