I have personal and business credit card accounts with Chase. I have gone into AccountSafe at Chase, activated access through Desktop Apps, and confirmed my identity through Chase's secure message center. When I try to set up online banking in Moneydance, I get a reject of Invalid Username/Password. This happens regardless of whether I'm attempting to connect the personal credit card account or business accounts. The console indicates a successful query is being made to Chase's OFX server; it's just rejecting the login info.

My accounts are all consolidated under one login/password. When there is a business account involved, Chase says the account is classified under business. This seems to be relevant because according to Chase, only personal credit card accounts can Direct Connect, not business credit card accounts -- unless you have a Chase business bank account as well. At which point there is a charge to the business banking account. This is apparently an "arrangement" they made with Quicken last year. I don't have any bank accounts with Chase.

If this is all true and not a bunch of hogwash, then my choices are to unlink my personal cc account from the business accounts and accept downloading the business accounts manually, or dump Chase and take my credit card business elsewhere. Which wouldn't be the first time I dumped Chase for attempting to nickel and dime me. A callback from a second-level rep is pending, but I'm not holding my breath.

Has anyone else encountered any of this?

Thanks,
