Using Version 2019.2 (1868) on PC Windows 10.

Just updated from 2019 Ver ? to the one above. Online bill payment quit working with the following error.

There was an error communicating with your financial institution. The details of this error are below.

Bank Name: PNC Bank - Direct Connect
Account: PNC Spend
Account Number: xxxxxxxxxxx

I'm sorry, an error occurred. The details of this error are below.
Error Description: java.lang.Exception: Server did not acknowledge payment message

It worked without a problem until the latest update.

Unrelated to this problem. On the summary page. The last half of the last digit of the total amount for each account is cut off. If the last digit is a 0, it displays as a "(" (half of a 0). The total amount of all account is fine.

Thanks for any help.

Steve

At some point my bill payment went through.

Sometimes I get this when selecting "Online Bill Payment"
    ?-000000000014 05/23/2019 $ 30.33 Processed
    ?-000000000001 06/07/2019 $ 38.37 Will Process

When I refresh sometimes I get the error I listed in my previous post above.

Sometimes I get the proper data.
INDIANA AMERICAN WATER CO 05/23/2019 $ 30.33 Processed
JEFFERSONVILLE SEWER DEPT 06/07/2019 $ 38.37 Will Process
Sometimes the last online bill, in this case Jeffersonville Sewer Dept., doesn't show up. Have to refresh once or twice to get it to show up.

Maybe a coincidence, But since I updated to the latest update, this did not happen.

If you think that this is not the fault of the latest update to Moneydance, Could you please email me a copy of the install executable of the previous update to 2019. I'll take it from anyone who has it. I'll install it and see if the same errors occur.

Thank you derekkent23. Really appreciate the link.

Installed 2019-1 (1855) over the latest build. The total numbers on the summary screen mentioned above are not cut off now. I selected "Online Bill Payment" several times with no errors. Everything is working the way it should. Happy camper!

Kind of points to the latest update causing the problems. I know IK will fix this. A little surprised they remain silent.

Just installed 2019.3 (1870) as suggested.

Everything as mentioned above is still broken. Got the communication error again, The account total numbers are still cut off. Sometimes the payees are screwed up like this:
    ?-000000000014 05/23/2019 $ 30.33 Processed
    ?-000000000001 06/07/2019 $ 38.37 Will Process

    Reverting back to 2019-1 (1855)

I have posed a link to your thread on Sean’s, the software developers’ slack site in the hope he will note your issues.

    Hi Steve,

I apologise for both of these problems with Moneydance. I've updated the connection parameters for PNC Bank which I believe should fix the random errors in bill payment messages. Can you try to sync up your bill payments and payees again and let me know on this thread if you encounter any more trouble?

    Thanks,
    Sean

    Hey Sean,

The connection parameter updates to PNC has fixed the issue. Online Bill Payment is working as expected. 2019-2 (1868).

The last digit of the bank, credit card, and investment account totals on the summary page are still cut off. Either the box is not wide enough, or the totals are too far to the right.

Thanks for the great product, and your help with this matter.
Thanks derekkent23 for forwarding this link to Sean.

I was having this same problem with Regions Bank. I went back to version 2019.1 and it is now working fine.

    Hi LAdams,

    Windows 10 Home 1809
    Moneydance 2019.3 (1870)

I'm not having any problem connecting to Regions Bank in the above environment.

Moneydance 2019.3 (1870) is currently the latest preview build.

    Hi Larry,

I don't recall having an issue with 2019.2 but I've been using the preview build for a while now.
