Skips a step, downloads wrong account
Hi. This is a frequent glitch. When I add a new bank account to online banking, the program sometimes skips a step. The step it skips is producing a pull-down menu that asks which account I want to use. When it skips this step, it downloads account A instead D or whatever account I'm trying to download. Once past this skipped step I have found no way to fix this problem. Sometimes, deleting the account and starting over fixes it, sometimes that doesn't work either. Today it doesn't work. Does anyone have a fix for this please?

Hmm, I should have mentioned that all the accounts in question are at the same bank. The way this bank operates, I must make separate accounts for each thing in order to download, so I have multiple accounts for this one institution

Okay! In case anyone else is having this problem this week, I found the answer in an old thread. I hope it's okay to quote Ian here. His answer is clear and easy to follow.

To fix this, open the register of an affected account, go to Online -> Set Up Online Banking from the menu bar, and disable online banking. Repeat for all affected accounts. Then you will need to re-enable them one by one in the same menu. Once you have entered your ID and Password for an account, click Ok and wait (do not click next). You need to see a window that will display - "Please choose the account you wish to use" - which are your accounts listed in a drop down list. If you bypass this window - your Moneydance Account will map to the first account on this list. Sometimes you will need to just wait for this window to pop-up as it can take several seconds.

It's so counter-intuitive to wait a few seconds for the pull-down menu instead of clicking Next. I guess it's a bit eccentric, but it works. Thanks anyway.
