Citibank OFX download files no longer import

For years i have been able to download transactions from my Citibank accounts and import them to MoneyDance with no problem. Citibank recently changed its menu structure so that the old menu for downloading transactions is no longer available. The new menu acts as though everything is completely normal - it creates a file and downloads it to my downloads folder. MoneyDance recognizes the file, but when I try to import it, nothing happens. I just had a very frustrating conversation with Citibank tech support in which they claimed that the problem must be with MoneyDance, even though I told them that what had changed was their system, which had worked perfectly until a few days ago - nothing had changed about MoneyDance. Has anyone else had this problem? Do you have any solution?

Thanks.

I did not realize that MoneyDance could import QIF files. I have just downloaded some Citibank transactions in that format and imported them successfully, so my problem is solved, though I still feel Citibank has done something to cause their OFX files not to work and seemingly has no interest in fixing the problem.

Citi is up to something with regards to their OFX support. I'm getting the standard "2000" error occasionally when updating my 2 Citi cards. Last time it happened there was some text saying that I should have my financial software contact Citi about some changes to OFX implementation. I'll look for it again and try to paste exact text here for you.

    Hi Guys,

Take a look at this post by Jenny, IK Support, regarding the Citi Card Connections:
