Syncing Online Accounts
To Whom It May Concern:
I am looking for assistance in linking MondeyDance to my online accounts. I am told by a fellow MoneyDance user that this is possible however I have yet to be successful doing so. My goal is to have my Checking/Savings account linked to MoneyDance and then create a budget based of that. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Mike,
What financial institution are you trying to connect to?
If we're able to support direct connections with your financial institution, you can follow these instructions:

to setup your connection with them.

Hi Michael,
Many financial institutions (including Chase) require you to enable your accounts for application-based online banking. You can accomplish this by asking your bank to set up your account for direct connections from Quicken. Moneydance uses exactly the same OFX server connection protocol as Quicken but your bank representative may not know this and mistakenly believe that you can not connect in Moneydance.
To enable the connection with Chase you can call them at 1-877-242-7372, or go with the simpler method and use their website. First, log on to Chase's site, and click the Customer Center Tab. Click on "Financial Management Software". Select "Activate Direct Access through PFM service" and follow the prompts from there. I followed your instructions but still have had know luck after enabling as explained online. Please tell me the steps I take thru money dance to download to account. If possible could we set up a conference call to do this.
