Generally speaking banks outside of North America so not provide the infrastructure that supports automatic download of transactions. The Moneydance developers are looking at methods of downloading using the Internet banking websites but this is likely to be an extended process as it is not trivial.

For those of us outside of the North American market banks do generally provide the ability to download transactions files, generally in the OFX/QFX or QIF formats but occasionally in CSV format. These can generally be imported into Moneydance as it has the tools available to read and process these files, you do have to manually drive the process.

I would suggest you download, install and try out Moneydance in trial mode, this mode is fully functional with the limitation being 100 manually entered transactions, buying the software later gives you a key that unlocks this limit, so you can test downloading and importing data and anything else you may wish.

dwg
