It sounds like your bank's accounts are not mapped properly to your accounts in Moneydance.

You should first disable online banking for both accounts and re-run the 'Set Up Online Banking' routine.

Make sure that you have Moneydance opened to the proper account in question for which you are setting up online banking.

Take your time going through the various screens of the 'Set Up Online Banking' routine. One of them will offer a drop-down list of the available accounts associated with the username and password that you provided. Moneydance defaults to the first account listed so if you skip selecting the proper account you may again end up with a mapping issue. I'll say it again, take your time going through the routine. There is no room for error.

I redid the connection and that worked. I have two different credit cards with the same bank, each card has its own separate login. I set up the first one just fine, but when I go to set up the second one MD only recognizes the first card and won’t give me the option to designate the second one I am trying to set up. Any ideas?

I'm glad to hear that you were able to make some headway.

The wife and I have separate Visa cards at Chase; each with different user-names and passwords. So what you are attempting can be done.

It's been several years since I needed to set up these accounts but if memory serves me, this is what you should do...

After setting up the first account, before starting the 'Set Up Online Banking' routine,
make sure that you are now opened to the next account in Moneydance.

On the first screen of the routine, click the 'New Connection' button (even though your bank is likely already listed in the 'Financial Institutions' drop-down list)

Follow through the routine - When it comes time to enter the user-name and password, Moneydance may or may not pre-populate the user-name and password fields with the credentials of the first account. You need to change them to reflect the appropriate user-name and password for the new account. Just something else to look out for.

Again, I can't emphasize enough to take your time and carefully look over everything before continuing through the routine.

Thanks for pitching in with your experience. Perhaps MD support could throw you a thank you.

Best,
