QFX Downloads

Since the start of 2020, two credit card accounts I use have been showing charges as payments.

I download the transactions directly from the banks’ websites using the QFX format.

A third credit card I use is posting charges and payments correctly using the QFX format.

Does anyone know of the QFX format has changed for 2020?

    I'm a fellow user.

I know of no changes in the OFX specification and there is certainly no new specification available. However it does appear that in recent times some Bank programmers have been interpreting the spec differently, leading to this problem.

More recent versions of Moneydance, I forget exactly when but I think it has been during the life of Moneydance 2019, have the setting "Ignore Transaction Types in Favor of Amount Signs" on the network tab of the Preferences menus, so far this appears to have addressed the issue.

I updated the setting on the NETWORK tab in Preferences.  It worked!

Thank you for answering my question.
