I am a convert from Quickbooks Mac 2016 to MoneyDance. I attempted to download bank transactions in MoneyDance . Only the transactions from the current month downloaded. Is there a way to force the last 6-12 months to download?

    I'm a fellow user.

When you use Direct Connect the banks typically limit the amount of data held on these systems, often in the 30-90 day range. This allows them to contain the size of such systems, there is nothing Moneydance can do about this, this is the banks making a business decision.

However on the Bank's Internet Banking sites many Banks will provide the capability for you to download a greater history of transactions, typically in formats like OFX/QFX and/or QIF. Moneydance can import these files, often it can also import CSV files. Downloading and importing such files is the way to get the back history, with OFX/QFX files being the preferred format.

Unfortunately my bank limits the data to 6 months. There is no other way to capture data than to type it in.
Thank you for the efforts giving me some idea where to try.
