Hi, Wanted to know on downloading since I am unable to download from the demo.
1. Are downloads tied to the QIF format?
2. What other download formats are available?
3. Does downloading brokerage default to FIFO and shares? What happens with Options?

Thank you

The information provided did not mention downloading from credit card accounts or brokerage accounts.
Are they the same as the banking if they have the Direct Connect or QFX format?
    Thank you,

    I'm a fellow user.

There are no restrictions in importing transactions when Moneydance is in trial mode.

Moneydance support importing from files like OFX, QFX, QIF, OFC, QIF and it is possible to import data into all account except investment accounts from well formatted CSV files.

Just to add: The demo version is fully functional and allows you to manually enter 100 transactions. Nothing else in the program is restricted, so you'll be able to fully test things like importing from other programs and connections with your bank. If you decide to purchase the program at a later date (from you can keep all your data, the license key simply unlocks the ability to manually enter more transactions.

If you're having trouble downloading, it would be good to provide as many details as you can, like what file type you are trying to import, which bank, if you are receiving any error messages, etc.
