Moneydance does not distinguish different accounts from the same bank's Avatar

I have three bank accounts (credit cards) with the same bank. Originally, they were all with separate banks, but over time the banks merged and I kept the credit cards. When I download online transactions from the bank (Chase), Moneydance always downloads the transactions for only one of the cards - I end up with the same set of transactions in three different accounts. I have checked the account numbers and they are correct.

Funny! The same thing, in a bit of different circumstances just happened
to me, until I figured it out. This may help.

Create a separate credit card account. The, to the account, create a new
online banking using the bank. When it comes to the point to specifiy
the Bank's credit card, you will see that you can choose one of (your)
three. (I ony had a second one from American Express.

Hope I have given you enough of a description of what I did (and found
to work). If not, others on this forum may be able to provide more
    specific information.

It sounds like your accounts are not mapped properly in Moneydance.

In Moneydance, disable the online banking connection to each of the problem accounts.
To do so, Open Moneydance to the account in question.
Then from the Menu bar, go to Online > Set Up Online Banking > Disable

Next, re-enable online banking for each account.

When you do so, make sure that you are opened to the account in question.
Again, go to Online > Set Up Online Banking.
Click the 'New Connection' button each time for each account. Even though your financial institution may already be listed in the Financial Institutions drop-down list.

Follow the prompts. Take your time. There are screens that may take a second or two to appear.

One of the screens contains a drop-down list of your individual accounts that you need to select the proper account from.

If you skip any of these screens your accounts will not map properly.

Again, take your time with the routine; there is no room for error.
