Hi Michael,
Our internal connection documentation suggests that you try to use your member number as your username, and your PIN as your password. Could you give that a shot and let me know if you are successful?
Hope this helps, and feel free to contact me with any questions about this process!

David-
Thanks - that worked! (really should have a clear note about that in the product when USAA is selected)
But now that the online banking seems to connect to USAA Federal Savings bank, the balances shown for both checking and savings account is completely incorrect. Now what?

Micahel,
Have you already set an initial balance for your account? To change the Initial Balance of the account, open the account register and go to Account->Edit Account. You can enter mathematical equations in the Initial balance field in the account to calculate the amount it should be. For example if your current account balance is 1476.62, and the balance shown in Moneydance is 27.65, then enter 1476.62-27.65 (use the minus sign) in the Initial Balance field and hit enter. Moneydance will automatically calculate the proper Initial Balance.
If you have and your balance is still off, then it's possible that at some point you accidentally uncleared an old transaction or deleted an old transaction after a reconciliation process. You can check to see if you have any uncleared transactions that you aren't aware of by using the "Uncleared" button above the register of the account that isn't balancing correctly, which will filter the transactions in the register to only show the uncleared ones.
Hope this helps, and feel free to contact me with any questions about this process!

David
Thanks for the great support. Related question is how does
one download a larger history of transactions from the past year? I'm seeing only 45 days back for both USAA accounts.
Best regards,

Michael,
You may be able to get a bit more account history by downloading the history from your bank's web site. You can download QFX, QIF, OFX or OFC files (sometimes referred to as Quicken or MS Money files), any of which will import cleanly into Moneydance. You can also open your bank's download page directly (after entering the appropriate address in the Account->Edit Account menu) by going to the menu bar and selecting Online->Open Account Website.
