I'm using your online payment. Will it work with the new Quicken Bill Manager?

    Hello,

No, Quicken Billpay is a Quicken product. Moneydance directly connects with bill pay systems at banks that offer that service to their customers: https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/online-banking-and-bill-pay/o...

I new quicken bill pay is a Quicken product but isn’t the Direct Connect you rely on also?

At least I get charged $9.95 by quicken for the service.

Are you saying that Direct Connect and my bill pay service through Moneydance will not be affected by Quicken stopping their Bill Pay service?

    Hello,

Direct Connect and Quicken's Bill Pay are two different things. Direct Connect, which Moneydance supports, connects directly with your bank (if they support that service), and uses their servers to send bills through your bank. Quicken's Bill Pay is a service that company runs for an additional fee. That service basically runs all of your bills through whoever they contract with to process bill payments (which often causes issues, if you were among those who couldn't use the service at all for the first few weeks of this year). I believe that depending on the version of Quicken that you had, you could choose to use Direct Connect to connect to your bank's bill pay service (if they offer it), but I think this option was usually harder to find (probably because Quicken would prefer customers pay them extra for this service instead of using a potentially free option through one's bank).

We do not have our own bill pay service, and cannot connect to Quicken's systems, so even if Quicken weren't discontinuing their service, you still wouldn't be able to use it in Moneydance. The only option for bill payments in Moneydance is through direct connections, if your bank offers them.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,
