Cambridge Trust Password/Pin is eight character- one upper case letter , one lower case letter and one number. Our customer wants to use a four digit pin the through Money Dance not our password is he able to do that?

    I'm a fellow user.

If a financial institution has a password requirement for direct connect then that password requirement must be met for online downloads to work. Moneydance is just passing the password to the institution, the institution will of course pass the received password through their algorithm and if it does not match then nothing will download and the user will get an invalid password message back from the Bank's server.

There is another password that is used to open the data set in Moneydance this can be anything the user wishes, it has no connection to the institution's password, and I would also suggest it not be the same in any case.
