Same issue here. I also upgraded to MD 2021 (build 2006) to see if that fixed anything. No joy.

melaclarotag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490050112021-01-30T16:36:44Z2021-02-02T08:39:49ZDownloads stopped from USAA Federal Savings Bank

I have also the same issue for the past week. I have tried to create a new account but there is not a way to enter your pin, as required by USAA, to download your data. I don't know what they have done to Moneydance but it is no longer functional and it has taken them way too long to figure it out. I hate Quicken but that might be the only option left.

Kelly Scotttag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490050112021-01-30T17:29:31Z2021-02-02T08:39:49ZDownloads stopped from USAA Federal Savings Bank

Spoke to someone at USAA. They said that they now have a new interface that requires a NEW ID# and PIN, if I remember correctly. He said he only knows of three programs that support this new interface, Quicken, YouNeedABudget and Everydollar. While I was there I did issue a complaint/request, which I think we all should do, requesting them to expand support to Moneydance, Or perhaps Moneydance develops those interfaces, I'm not sure how it works.

Bottom line USAA and Moneydance no longer play together.

jarvijunktag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490050112021-01-30T17:50:21Z2021-02-02T08:39:49ZDownloads stopped from USAA Federal Savings Bank

I am having the same issue. "Downloading transactions", then "Finished writing sync data" displays at the bottom, but new transactions don't really download. I have a lot of USAA accounts and really need this interface to work. I, too, got lured into upgrading MDance hoping that would fix it, to no avail.

jerrihalftag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490050112021-01-30T17:50:45Z2021-02-02T08:39:49ZDownloads stopped from USAA Federal Savings Bank

That doesn't sound good. I vastly prefer Moneydance to Quicken. I've tried reentering as well. I did see on USAA that they did some kind of secure update. Am posting in case anyone hears of a solution!

Roxannetag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490050112021-02-12T19:16:50Z2021-02-12T19:16:50ZDownloads stopped from USAA Federal Savings Bank

@All

Unfortunately, USAA have made a change on their end that seems to have disabled direct OFX connections, which Moneydance and other software requires to directly communicate with their servers. We're working to resolve this, but unfortunately they haven't been that communicative about the issue.

I've flagged this discussion, and we will post any updates about this issue as soon as we have them.

If you're interested, you can follow the main public thread where this is being discussed at: https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/discussions/online-banking/17962...

For the time being, the best way to get your transactions into Moneydance is to use a web browser to download files from your bank's web site.
It seems that the only format available for USAA customers is CSV. You can import CSV files into Moneydance using File --> Import, and you'll find the steps outlined in this article from the knowledge base.

Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience while we work to get this issue fixed.

Maddy, is there anything all of your USAA users can do to help make USAA be more communicative (i.e. reach out to IK/MD vs you trying to pound your heads against the USAA door?)

Like maybe an email address or something that we could all push at USAA, saying, we KNOW you don't support Moneydance, but please contact them as they want to serve their customers by making OFX downloads work again.

dtdtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490050112021-02-24T06:47:37Z2021-02-24T06:47:37ZDownloads stopped from USAA Federal Savings Bank

https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/discussions/online-banking/18363...

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)
