I assuming that your question is on my stand-alone tool (hleofxquotes) and not Stuart fix*.py script.

In general, there is not cap/limit on hleofxquotes side

I get account info and 14 should download, but only 9 appear.

That sounds as if USAA is returning just 9 entries. To confirm, go to your USAA FI directory and take a quick look at the content of file 'accountInquiry-v1-resp.ofx' and see if in fact it has just 9 account numbers or not.

I have the number of accounts set to 14, the other two are a credit card and mortgage.

Credit card should really have its own FI (row entry, directory). So just create another FI named "USAA Credit Card"

Mortgage: I am not sure it we will be able to query/download transactions. I am not sure it can be treated as checking account or not.

Big picture

All the checking/account numbers can be on the same FI

All the credit card account numbers can be on the same FI

Sanity check, were you able to download all 14 accounts in MD prior the the recent USAA changes?

hleofxquotestag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490340162021-02-22T19:41:44Z2021-02-24T08:12:20ZUSAA - using hleofxquotes to download OFX

.

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490340162021-02-22T23:22:30Z2021-02-22T23:30:00ZUSAA - using hleofxquotes to download OFX

Deleted

jeremytag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490340162021-02-22T23:27:07Z2021-02-22T23:28:06ZUSAA - using hleofxquotes to download OFX

Sorry, screwed up the markup.
Yes

Only 9 entries show up.

RE: credit card and mortgage accounts

Even though they are not in the list of accounts in the fi.properties file, the credit card and mortgage accounts show up in accountInquiry-v1-resp.ofx. That means, effectively, only 7 of the 14 accounts I want to download show up.

Sanity check, were you able to download all 14 accounts in MD prior the the recent USAA changes?

Yes, all of the accounts would download prior to USAA screwing us all up. That is why I think it may be on the hleofxquotes side. But, who knows. My wife has separate access credentials, but all of the same accounts show up when I attempt to download using her credentials, so that is not a work around, even inputting totally separate accounts in fi.properties.

Thanks again for putting this script together. The 7 accounts that are not downloading are not accounts I frequently use anyways. So, this is a lifesaver vs. CSV.

I figured out the problem. The other accounts had no activity in several months. I am guessing that the USAA server does not bother with pushing data from dormant accounts. I made transfers to all of the accounts yesterday, and every one of them showed up on your app today.

Great find!

For future reference, by default, the requests asks for data for the last 30 days

startDate=-30

You can change that to large or smaller value as needed. Note the the value is negative.

Caveat is that the date setting is advisory. Other words, the server can decide not honor it. For example, you can ask for last 356 days but the server has only 60 days data so server might only send back 60 days.

hleofxquotestag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/490340162021-02-23T22:49:54Z2021-02-24T08:14:42ZUSAA - using hleofxquotes to download OFX

My script fixes moved to a new post. Your scripts work wonderfully well on both checking and credit card USAA accounts, thank you! Now, I'm just wondering what bank will be next to upset the Apple cart (pun intended). Security is a moving target, and apparently we'll just have to get used to moving with it.

I'm hoping to write up a detailed guide to implementing this fix, but two words of caution right now:

Once you obtain your Quicken credentials via usaa.com/accessid, THEY will never change, but the UUID contained in the URL for that page will change every time you go there, so only do it once. If you've done it several times and downloads aren't working, then trash all those UUIDs, do it one more time, copy and preserve your final UUID from the URL (&clientID=), run the update script again, and don't ever go to usaa.com/accessid again, unless you want to start again from scratch.

[Stuart's updated script probably handles this, but if not…] And if you have ever received a new credit card because of theft, loss, fraud, etc., you can still find the original CC# via Online/Set up online banking…, then Change button, and proceed until you can select the CC# from the pop-up even though it does not match your current CC#! Apparently everything is keyed to your original issue CC#, and Moneydance has remembered it for you.
