Transactions not downloading after moving to a new computer.
I moved Moneydance to my new Mac (following the instructions on the website) and multiple accounts from one institution are not downloading new transactions now. What should I do to fix this?

Hello,
Which specific bank(s) are you having trouble connecting to? Are you receiving any error messages, and if so what are they? Which version of Moneydance and operating system are you using?

It seems to only be USAA. No errors, I even tried redoing the password, but it’s not downloading new items (and there are definitely new ones).
This is affecting a checking and a credit card.

Unfortunately, USAA decided to suddenly and arbitrarily drop their support for direct OFX connections a few weeks ago, which Moneydance and other similar programs require in order to communicate directly and securely with bank servers. Moving to a new computer wasn't the issue, that's just a coincidence. We're trying to work with them to reverse this decision and resolve this, but they unfortunately haven't been that communicative with us. I've flagged this thread, and will post any updates to the situation when we have them.
If you're interested, the main public forum thread where other fellow customers are discussing this issue is at: https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/discussions/online-banking/17962.... It unfortunately seems that USAA hasn't been that responsive to most customer's complaints about this issue as well.

Ah, that is unfortunate and odd timing. I will write them to let them know I miss it. Is there any sort of import that would be the equivalent of downloading transactions that I could research?

just a user
USAA now only offers CSV downloads, which are not as good as OFX downloads, especially automatic ones. However CSV import does work, as long as you configure the CSV import to match the file.

There are OFX tools that are connecting to the new Quicken only OFX area (USAA now only supports quicken) and doing the same with moneydance is being worked on as well.
