Bank Connectivity
Hello
Does the Moneydance software allow connections to banks in the United Kingdom.
I am not requiring online payments but do need account updating for reconciliations.

Nope - UK banks do not allow this type of connection (I wish UK banks did!). However, many offer OFX downloads which you can import into MD..

Thanks for your input: That’s what I imagined and as I have more than a dozen accounts it makes it a really onorous task. Any ideas of an accounts program likes Moneydance that offers connectivity to UK banks?

Nope - it's not a Moneydance problem. It's that UK don't support the necessary connection types..

You are left with software that makes ues of Aggregation services, usually at a cost.
The problem with such service is one of Privacy and security.
Security in that you have to give them you internet backing usernames and passwords.
Privacy in that many use your data for data mining and sell the aggregated findings commercially.
Moneydance refuses to use such services.
